Science and math at Villa Academy are a joy to teach!  The students are engaged, and eager to learn.  Sixth grade science covers the study of the human body, energy, forces, motion, light, and sound.  In seventh grade the students study geology, astronomy, and weather.  And in eighth grade the focus is biology.  For math the seventh and eighth grade students take Algebra.

I began teaching at Villa Academy in 1989, after spending 17 years teaching in Edmonds and Ballard.  I majored in Biology at the University of Washington, and did post-graduate work at Seattle Pacific University, Seattle University, University of Washington, and USC.
